What happens when you dress your 17-month-old in size 18-months

Yesterday morning, I was at the kitchen sink when suddenly I heard Caleb behind me in the entryway.

"Mommy. . . Mommmmy."

"What's up, Bud?" I said, without turning around.

"Mommmmmmmmmy. . . " he said in a whine.

"Goofy-Goof, you need to stop whining and tell Mommy what you need in a nice voice."

"Mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy. . . "

I finally turned around and saw this:

I don't know if it was his predicament or the look on his face that made me laugh so hard. All I can say is that I'm thankful I had my camera nearby.

  1. That is so hilarious!

(However, I would recommend that you re-do this picture with a MAJOR watermark. If you don't know why, ask me)

But, again, this is one of the cutest pictures I've ever seen of him!

  3. so cute! caleb must be a little guy! beck's been in 18 mo. for awhile. but, i guess the pants are sometimes too big for his little skinny waist. :-) beck doesn't say a single word - just a lot of grunts and 'questions' (sound like whines!) so much fun as they grow and learn new things!
